MVIC has an assortment of micrometers, dial calipers, machinist’s gauges, tape measures, and related measurement tools to perform reverse engineering functions.

*3-D CMM or laser scan services are not provided by MVIC but can be provided by a third-party service provider coordinated through MVIC.

Equipment relocations

MVIC can manage or support equipment relocations and reinstallations. Services available include:

  • Project planning and coordination
  • Infrastructure and utilities assessment at the site where the equipment is being located to
  • AutoCAD equipment layout drawings
  • Registered P.E. coordination for any needed infrastructure work or work requiring P.E. stamped drawings and documentation for permit approval
  • Contractor bid spec documents, bidding, and selection
  • Site preparation at the reinstallation site include pre-installation of all needed utilities, floor supporting structures, and support systems
  • Equipment maintenance, cleaning, repainting, rebuilding or upgrades which are planned or needed as part of the equipment relocation, including safety upgrades
  • On-site project supervision at both the de-install and the reinstall locations
  • Coordination of crane service (if needed)
  • Coordination of equipment transportation
